Happy New Year! I can't believe it has been an entire year since I blogged. 2025 was a whirlwind year, full of some really exciting professional moments and some hard challenges personally. This past year, I focused on #impact as my #oneword2025 and I really took this word to heart as I worked on my writing through publishing for Edutopia, working on my second book, and sharing my passion with elementary educators throughout the United States through my presentations. But it was also a difficult year as our family dealt with unemployment challenges and making ends meet during this challenging time.
